I only went because i was forced by my employer. I believe in abstinence not pseudo therapies they print out from internet. Being forced to attend A A which pushes God on you violates my religious freedom.

Couldn't believe it.

I came in voluntarily for an alcohol addiction. From the beginning of the intake I explained that I wasn’t comfortable taking urine test. I was told since I was there voluntarily that they could be flexible. My very first day of a group meeting the owner called me in to talk to him to discuss my aversion to the urine test. I told him I felt they were unnecessary all they need to do is ask me. I told him I was not here to lie or be treated like a child and he said to me ” well you could tell me one thing and then change your mind next week and take it back ” that was practically blatantly calling me a liar. He said he would like to help but that is how they do it.

For a substance abuse center who claims they want to help I think they could have waved this small policy. They could have at least gave me a couple weeks to clear my head up and then revisited the topic.

Good luck in your search.
