A friends dad is smoking crack. I guess its a new thing because she just told me about it... how addictive is smoking crack? I need some possible suggestions on how I can help her with the situation.

I have to say that its probably not as new of a thing as you think. Maybe your friend is confiding in you because she trusts you... telling someone your dad is a crack addict can't be easy. But in the grand scheme of things there is littled to nothing youll be able to do. You could try suggesting rehab but you need to know that smoking crack is a dangerous and all-consuming drug addiction that many people never make it out of.
