My friend just started stealing her Mom’s vicodin, and she is taking it at least twice a day. Is there some effects of drug abuse? I can tell her that will help her quit the abuse?

I think it’s important that you get your friend some help right away before she has a serious addiction and can’t stop. I would tell her about the harmful effects like abnormal heart rate, damage to to her liver, possible liver failure, seizures, stroke and even death that can all be effects of drug abuse. I hope she finds help soon.

Does you friend have some other problems going on that may have led to her drug abuse? It is possible those problems will need to be addressed in order to get her away from drugs. It will cause soon many problems for her from stroke to death. She could also have problems with memory, and create brain damage. I hope she gets help soon.
