  5. What are the symptoms of heroin withdrawal?
Asked: 2018-09-24 12:39:36
My daughter moved back home after living in another state for years. I noticed that she was acting very strangely and has been super sick since she moved home. She is running around with a bad crowd and I am afraid that she is withdrawing from heroin and do not want her to relapse. What signs do I look for to tell if she is withdrawing or not?

If your daughter is withdrawing from heroin, she will more than likely be very moody and complain about body aches. You may notice that she has a slight fever, diarrhea, nausea, and muscle cramps, as well.

When detoxing from heroin, people often have uncontrollable muscle spasms, muscle weakness, and cramping. They also tend to have insomnia, headaches, and are more irritable than they usually are. Monitor your daughter’s behavior to see if you notice any of these symptoms.
