Is it normal to shake going cold turkey with alcohol? Or have the sweats? I have both currently.

Yes! Some people can’t go without it or they will get sick after 8-12 hours. If the shakes get really bad carry a small 1$ shot for emergencies. If you feel clammy it’s coming on! My aunt carries a towel and that shot in her bag for work

When my bf was going through withdrawals he would always sweat the sheets at night. It helps to keep an extra sheet under the bed and change it in the middle of the night. You can do this as well as keep a dry washcloth for your face. As far as the shakes, try working out or going to a sauna! ALWAYS TALK TO A DOCTOR because the withdrawals can kill you.
