What happens at an na meeting?

My friend is in recovery and I would like to be well prepared to help her when she gets out. I know she is worried about being called out or looked down upon at her first na meeting. So i’d like to know if someone can tell me what happens at an na meeting?

At my na meeting we swap stories making sure to give the speaker all our attention just as we expect the same. But it’s not just that. We drink coffee and talk about what makes us get up in the morning, we make friends, and support systems. Come on by, we would love to have you.
