I’ve been addicted to fentanyl for quite a few years now, it’s the pits, I just want to come off it and stop thinking about it, but anytime I try I fail. What can I do to get through it this time?

If you can, taper down a bit before you go into withdrawal. Even take a few weeks/months reducing, it sucks but it will help the withdrawal and it helped me come off it for good. Get some stuff for the pain and nausea in withdrawal and something to make you sleep.

A controlled environment – like a detox center – works best to get you off fent. It won’t be easy but they will support you through it and watch you. Nasty times but the road to recovery for sure.
