Does alcohol help with opiate withdrawal?

After getting into a relationship with my now ex-boyfriend, I got into prescription opiates that led me to heroin. I'm going through opiate withdrawal and I need some relief, I'm hoping alcohol will help some.

Another essienntial point is if you’re addicted to opiates drinking/ abusing alcohol at all has a similar impact on your health and is not good for you.
