Does suboxone have withdrawal symptoms?

Considering getting my son on a subsitution for his heroin addiction. I heard that the suboxone program has success for some people, however im worried about it causing him withdrawal, because he has said before that withdrawal causes him to want to get high and he always ends up relapsing. Any insight would be helpful, thanks.

Just as any other opiate will give you withdrawal symptoms so will suboxone.
