A person I am familiar with consumed baked goods that had weed in the ingredients. The person didn’t know about it though and absorbed a lot of weed. I hope its not deadly to them.

Your friend could be experiencing a panic attack, weed does that sometimes. Also because the person did not expect the goodies to have a mind-altering substance in them. He or she should be just fine.

It takes a lot lot lot of weed for a person to die; I don't remember exactly, but it's something like, a person would have to consume 25 pounds in less than an hour to approach an "overdose" That being said, a surprise pot brownie can really mess your day up. If you're not expecting to be stoned (especially if you've never been stoned before) it might cause you to panic when it kicks in, especially with the delayed effects of edibles. The good news is, your friend will be fine. They might be a little confused, giggle a lot, and really really want some Kool-aid, but they shouldn't suffer any ill effects
