I have finally met a great guy, I can’t believe how happy I am except now my friends are telling me he’s an alcoholic, is that really all that bad, if he is good to me?

Yes being an alcoholic is bad, it can destroy your liver, make you do stupid things that can get you in trouble and can make you blackout. What good is going on a date, if one of you doesn’t even remember it.
