I spoke on the phone to my doctor about my sister’s alcohol abuse, and she suggested getting her into rehab. I need to find out more about this, what does rehab mean?

Rehab is usually residential rehabilitation – somewhere that someone goes to get away from the thing they are addicted to. It is a safe place to help them get through withdrawal and also give them psychological support.
