Will i have alcohol withdrawal?

I’ve always been a social drinker but I’ve noticed recently that my intake has gone up (I’ve had some problems going on personally) and I often crave a drink, trying to make it through the day without having one can be difficult. So, I’m going to quit. Will I go through alcohol withdrawal?

It’s likely that you will, although it may not be as severe as a long time alcoholic. The withdrawal will be less severe if you don’t come off a binge of a few days into it. You will still go through shaking, sweats, nausea and maybe even hallucinations though for up to around a week.
