  5. What are the withdrawl symptoms of codeine?
Asked: 2018-09-28 11:35:14
I’ve been going to different doctors and pretending that I can’t stop coughing for what feels like decades. Really, it’s probably only been a few months, but they finally caught on and cut me off of the narcotic cough medicine. I tried to order some codeine from Canada, but I don’t think it worked, and I don’t feel like going to jail anyway. What will it be like when I stop?

You can expect to have an upset stomach, problems sleeping, achy joints, cold sweats, and a loss of appetite for a little while if you’re physically addicted. You definitely need to stop doctor shopping and trying to get drugs illegally. That’s a good way to end up in jail, and I personally think rehabs a lot nicer.

Umm, it sounds like you have an addiction, and that you need to admit that to yourself before you can get clean. If you’ve been on the coding regularly for a long period of time, you’ll probably experience symptoms that remind you of the flu. This is only if you’ve had daily use, otherwise you may just be struggling with a psychological need for codeine.
