  5. When do alcohol withdrawal symptoms peak?
Asked: 2018-07-12 22:15:17
I’m going to give up the booze cos it’s just been making my life worse, not better, and I know my health is suffering. I believe withdrawal is tough, but when will the worst of it be?

Around 2-3 days into your withdrawal apart from the tremors and nausea you might also have seizures, hallucinations and your blood pressure can spike so consult a doctor.

Don’t go through it on your own. It’s going to be a tough week or so, but day 3 is normally the worst. If you’ve been a really heavy drinker, the DT’s can set in, and that is very dangerous.
