  5. Why is crack so addictive?
Asked: 2018-09-20 15:27:48
I used to have a good friend that did everything with me. But he tried crack once, things just haven’t been the same since. I don’t even recognize him. Why does crack have to be so addictive?

Its because smoking crack is like the greatest instant high there is. You start feeling awesome before you completely exhale. The biggest issue is that that feeling goes away after like 10 minutes. It can get really expensive to stay high all day, especially when you dont have a job or youre living on the streets.

Its not really crack thats super addicted, but its parent drug cocaine. Cocaine is considered the most addictive drug on the planet, and crack delivers it directly to the blood vessels in your lungs. This moves it into your brain a lot faster, and stimulates an instant euphoria. Some people talk about being addicted after just one hit. The problem with crack is that its effects only last for about 30 minutes. This means that you have to constantly do it to get the crack effects.

I think its addictive because cocaine is so addictive. For a lot of people in Columbia or indigenous populations, the raw materials for cocaine really didnt have any adverse effects. I think its when people started adding all of the extras that it got so dangerous. Now, you never know what youre getting on the street.

Crack is one of the most powerful illegal drugs when it comes to psychological dependence. It causes heightened euphoria. And there for is highly addictive.

Once you try crack even just the first time, you just want more and more and more. It’s so bad I don’t think people understand how great it makes you feel and that why you want it all the time.
