Hi Nate, I've seen issues like with clients of mine. Unfortunately I've seen many instances where detoxing from home has had either had unforeseen complications (usually involving enabling individuals) or complications that have had severe consequences, particularly with medical problems. I would strongly suggest when you are ready to detox to do it under medical supervision, it may still be uncomfortable, but doing it under the care of medical professionals is far safer and allows for a better continuum of care.
