Are oxycodone and percocet the same?

Its almost as if he cant help himself but lie- he lies ALL THE TIME and the thing he told me last was that percocet was not addicting like oxycodone. Im assuming this was a lie to.. arent oxycodone and percocet the same?

Oxycodone is an ingredient in percocet. Percocet also contains acetaminophen. Also both are addictive.
