I’m worried that my friend is using poor self control with her substance abuse. Can someone tell me the physical consequences of substance abuse.

The most common physical consequence of substance abuse would have aids. Injecting drugs or sharing used needles can give your friend aids, not just that, but her poor self control could lead to poor judgment and poor impulse control which will also lead to aids or hiv.
