I don’t understand why I am addicted to Heroin. I’ve only done it a few times but I can’t stop. What makes it so addictive?

Heroin releases dopamine in the brain. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that will release a feel good chemical that will keep you coming back for more. It only takes one time to become addicted. Try and get some help before things get worse.

Anything you do over and over again, your body will get used too. However, when you use Heroin it’s your body, mind and soul that becomes addicted. If you have only done it a few times, reach out before it takes your life. I’m sending you the best of wishes.
