I am writing here to look for some information about alcohol rehab under medicare health insurance. Is it known if medicare pay for alcohol rehab and how does it all work?

Thankfully medicare does pay for alcohol and/or drug rehabilitation. But how medicare pays for the alcohol rehab will depend on the medicare plan that a person has. Overall medicare is good for paying for rehab in an inpatient or outpatient facility.. Look further into your plan and benefits to see what kind of alcohol rehab you are eligible for.
