My understanding of marijuana is that it helps a person eat by increasing the appetite and help soothe the stomach.. Is this true or is it the opposite?

Before recovery I was a chronic smoker. I smoked marijuana for probably ten or so years and I never got any stomache issues.

If you are smoking marijuana it can cause stomach problems because the smoke gets ingested into your stomach. Besides the fact that marijuana is an "all-natural" herb, if you get nauseas its your body giving you warning signs that something is not in its normal state.
