Drugs took a major toll on my life and luckily I'm not dead. A close friend I've known for a while now overdosed and died a couple weeks ago. I'm out of my mind about all of it and I have tried to stop doing drugs before but I feel stuck and weak. How can I stop doing drugs? Drugs are kill me and everyone around me.

It is obvious that you've come to a block of desperation. Condolences about your friend drug use takes a lot of people away from us. A satisfactory way to stop doing drugs is to go to rehab. There are different types of rehabs that accomodate a diverse set of circumstances and can meet you where you are at... if that makes sense. My best friend decided to go to rehab and has been clean from that time on.

It wont be long before you start to see more people you know and love go. Im not trying to be insensitive, seeing as it is heart-breaking to even think about. For me, I have lost countless friends to drug overdose and I hit a bottom and got into recovery. More or less I knew I had to save myself because I was next in line.
