If anything ativan helps calm your nerves while fighting opiate withdrawal not sure that it helps with opiate withdrawal though.

Truth be told, any person going through withdrawal will have a different experience than another. There are medications one can take while going through withdrawal, but they should only be taken under the direct supervision of a medical professional. If not, the person may not detox properly and may end up hurting themselves. If you are experiencing withdrawals look for a medical detox center, as they will be able to help you out.
