Theres not really an answer to that. Like we can guess how long detox will take but the other stuff is on you. How fast you are with your steps, how honest you are willing to be with yourself. That’s all really big factors in the time line.

All sober means is that you dont have drugs in your body when youre tested. It doesnt mean that youre in recovery or that youre getting over your addiction. Being sober is pretty easy if you can make it through withdrawals, its stopping yourself from using drugs that can get really difficult.

That really depends on how much of a certain drug you use. Im not sure if theres a definite sober calculator, but you could figure out how long it takes something to leave your body> depending on your size and weight. Something like amphetamines or alcohol can leave your body a lot faster than marijuana or certain opioids. If youre a chronic user, they can stain your body for up to a week. If youre only an occasional user, then most drugs are out of your system within five days. Marijuana is really the only drug that sticks around for much longer time.

I think its a lot easier to come up with an alcohol calculator than it is for other drugs. Most alcohol leaves your system at a rate of 1 to 1.5 ounces per hour. You can tell how many ounces of alcohol youre drinking based on whether youre drinking a mixed drink, beer, wine, or malt liquor. There should be a lot of different resources online, but whether youre male or female and just how heavy you are will also play a factor. Keep in mind that sober is very different from in recovery. An addict can get sober without ever intending to stop using drugs.
