The Opportunity for Change Scholarship
The Opportunity for Change Scholarship is an Educational Scholarship awarded in the amount of $500 for the spring semester to (1) student pursuing a college degree, who have a personal connection to addiction and are demonstrating academic excellence. The deadline for this scholarship is September 30th annually, and the recipient will be notified by December 1st annually to receive award before Spring enrollment.
Application Requirements
Additional criteria: This Educational Scholarship is ideal who students who have struggled with addiction and has overcome it to pursue an education. This is also for student who have had a friend, family member or spouse who has struggled with addiction.

Include a Submission Essay
Your submission essay should detail your personal connection to addiction, what career path you are hoping to take, and how you hope to make a difference with your education. Additionally, list any work you are currently doing, whether paid or voluntary.
Include a letter of recommendation from a college professor or High School Teacher.
Include a copy of College or High School Transcripts.
