This place changes lives. They take the mess inside and replace it with good. They teach how to live life fully again. They give you the tools needed to cope with life on life's terms. They love you back to life. Not only do they provide education about addiction and recovery. There are groups that teach you how to process your thoughts and feelings. You also receive a personal therapist. I would recommend this program to any struggling addict or alcoholic who is ready to give their all to obtain sobriety.

They are all very professional, educated and well mannered however I was expecting a larger settlement. I suggest you negotiate the expected price before signing anything. Out of 11,000 I only receive 4,100.

I trusted this program and it's staff. They assured that my feelings were safe. Then BAMM, I was side tracked one day, told my mental illness was beyond their skills. I was discharged from a dual diagnosis facility. Moral of the story, just focus on getting clean, do not fall into opening up your heart. You will get betrayed and burned. I was left with no where to turn after a 40 min notice.

St Jude Recovery helped save my life. I had not had success at several other facilities. Clean date 8/14/12. That now puts me at 5 years, 4 months, 5 days of joyous recovery. Yes it's a hard place, no frills, strict. It challenges the clients. It may be hard, but so is early recovery. The most influential sponsor I've had is an alumni. I know many who completed the minimum 6 months who are now in long term recovery. My experience is that St Jude works for those who truly want it, and every staff member I interacted with wanted to see all clients succeed. Also, I believe that everything that goes on there, as frustrating as it might seem at the time, is all part of a larger plan to help those who want recovery.
