This facility does not even deserve one star. I had a family member in this facility and was listed as her emergency contact. When I first called to inquire about services at this facility I was assured that a case manager would be assigned to my family member to assist her in finding after care when she finished detox. That was my biggest concern so we agreed that she would receive care at turning point. When she entered detox, I spoke with her detox counselor and was informed that this facility is tangled up in some sort of contract negotiation and because of that, does not have case managers. When she went from detox to inpatient, I made an attempt to establish communication with her inpatient counselor, Candy. Her counselor did not return my call when I left a message expressing concern for her state of mind and wanting to check in and see how her transition to inpatient was going. Her counselor did not call me back all day (left the message around 9 am) so I called the next day at 11am to find out they had released my family member in the middle of the night to an unknown individual and did not make any attempt to contact me. Standard protocol at most facilities is to contact the emergency contact when a patient expresses a desire to leave to inform them of the situation and to have them try to talk the patient down. Had I not called to try and speak to her counselor again, I doubt they would have even informed me that she had left. PLEASE do not leave your loved ones in the care of this facility. There are so many better options.

This place saved my life ten years ago. If u really want to get help this is the place they will give u the tools to do so. If u want to play games.... Then this isn't the right location for you. I'll forever be grateful to the people of Turning Point.

I went here for detox and then the freedom center for women. The detox part was crazy men and woman hooking up. Lots of chaos and confusion . Freedom center way over crowded . Doctor messed up my meds. Didn't get much help here.

I would recommend Turning Point. I was offered an opportunity to take my life back & each employee was committed to seeing it through. I got what I went for & then some. You get what you put in. I have a very strong foundation due to Turning Point's long-term program.

This place is a joke they accept the Highmark insurance but after three visits there they wanted the full deductible amount up front or would not offer treatment. Advised that like any other place they submit a claim and then what the approved amount is based on their agreement with the insurance that will be paid to them but they refused to submit a claim first and would not return phone calls to fix the issue. Such a scam and a waste of a week for such a time sensitive issue. Don't go here if your not on welfare and not willing to pay them more then their services are worth!!!

This is a terrible facility. Been trying to get my father help. They make it impossible. No one says the same thing. Can't take his insurance. Now we can't take him he has chirrious. Talked to his doctor about him going says that his chirrious is not a problem for them. How is people supposed to get help. The administration at turning point suck.

It was a pivotal point in my life.. I had to gain the reality of what my addiction had done not only to me, but my family as well. I was hard to ignore without drugs and I became painfully aware of what I had become... The only option for me by that point was to pull up the boot straps and begin the healing.
