This journey to get my son the help that he needs has been difficult and full of ups and downs. Road blocks and heart ache. At the end of the day all anybody wants is to get their loved ones the help that they so desperately need and to get them stable. I want to say thank you to one of my sons nurse Anna O. Not every kid is the same and some more changing than others so thank you for taking the time understand my child and working with him. It's greatly Appreciated and thank you to the other staff as well, you job isn't easy!

The wait time to be admitted was over 12 hrs then communication with any one was horrible the left hand didn’t know what the right hand was doing i would leave messages and no one would ever call me back which is very concerning when you have a child there and if you could get some one to answer the phone they couldn’t help. They were willing to release my son even though he was still suicidal because he no longer met their criteria not sure how that’s safe. I would not recommend this place for any one.

I've been very impressed with the friendliness of the staff. Several recent updates have been made to the facilities. New leadership is adding in other services for patient satisfaction and working to become the leader for care.

No stars! Don't EVER take your kid there! Im not even going to go into detail because the fact that im sick to my stomach that i even picked this place for him. I never read the reviews before i did. Biggest mistake of my entire 11 years of raising my son! The most unprofessional place i have ever been to.

I've been dealing with these people for a few days now. Just don't bother calling up there they will just make up something or just out and out lie to you. They will put you on hold and leave you hanging. Each person you talk to tells you something different or they're dumb assess and can't answer any of your questions. My husband is in there and when he goes up to medical staff they just tell him to go and sit back down.

Being a Professional and Advocate in the Mental Health Field it is vital that I identify Behavioral Facilities that are trustworthy, compassionate, and use a integrative approach. I am proud to confirm Sundance Arlington is one of those facilities. I affirm this for adults as well as adolescents. I have witnessed TRUE LONG-TERM changes within the organization. I have worked closely with the Inpatient as well as Outpatient staff, they are professionals called to this field. Many blessings to the Therapist that walked out some mighty issues with my 14 year old son. He is now back in High School able to use the coping skills learned at Sundance. Thank you for being part of his healing.

It was a great experience for me. The staff was rough but I get they were trying to teach some of us manners. The food was good and therapy was very helpful. Not a bad experience at all but Sundance Dallas was horrible.

I was a patient here and have to say if you care about yourself or your loved ones please go somewhere else. The staff do not care about you at all, they treat the children like animals. Literally, on the first 10 minutes of my arrival at the facility I saw the staff YELLING at the kids because there were not lined up correctly for breakfast. The adult treatment is not any better, this place needs to shut down. What the other reviews say is true, all they care about is money, not your well being. They are taking advantage of people.

So far I am really happy with this place. My son is going to the php instead of staying and being admitted. They lady you talk to at first was so understanding , I didnt want to leave my son there and took an hour to try and make things go how I was comfortable with. So they went ahead and let him do outpatient and not admitted because I wasnt comfortable leaving my child. But outpatient services are amazing. Everyone has been so kind to us.

Dont even want to give it one star. My son was worse when he came out then when he went in!! You cant even mention this horrible place without him having a full blown panic attack. Sundance need to be shut down!!!

I was there for 4 days. Suring that time I saw a doctor once for 45 seconds.. A psychologist 2 time for 1 minute each time. We had what they call counseling twice a day for 30 minutes each. All other time was spend coloring or watching TV. The nurse giving out meds ask ME what he gave me. He didnt know. Thank goodneess I knew what I was taking. Also they told one lady she was in renal failure and sent her to the ER and guess what she was fine! I wouldnt take my worst enemy to this place. Please think twice before ever sending some there!!

My adolescent son was in the Arlington location for 10 days. Everyone was super nice and helpful except for one tech that advised him that at least she could go home that night. Lucky he only had to deal with her that one day. The hospital was able to give him the proper treatment and get his medication corrected. Not something you ever want to go through but I was thankful for Sundance during the situation.

As far as safety, most things are met. (Paper trash bags, no belts, shoe laces, ect. Except for the PICU adult patients. Several fights broke out while at my stay, and many things have changed. They're not on schedule as far as meds you already take at home. Took me 4 days just to get approved to get my controlled substances and they'll quickly take them away if you have a seizure. Or any medical problems. There are some staff who treat you as though you're an inmate. Even if you went willingly to get your own help. I use to suggest this place as my safe 4 walls.... not so much anymore. Although I do need to make it clear that nurse Patrick was really the nicest of the staff and understanding.

My daughter was admitted to this hospotal for anxiety. The staff was rude her night nurse was mean the horror stories im hearing sense getting my daughter out if this place is terrifying how can a hospital be aloud by law to operate this way .my daughter is 14 and had male nurses flirting with her .please do not take your loved one to this place they come out worse

I would not recommend them to anyone my son went in there for behavioral problems an made it even worse came home with a burse on his arm an the staff or anyone could tell me how it seem to get there an gave him medications without talking to first my son will never go back they never call back ...

The staff is not very friendly. The phone is rarely answered. The patience mostly sit around and talk about drugs and suicide. There is no one on one therapy time and the group therapy is mostly sitting around listening to the staffs playlist. Most unprofessional.

This place didn't really help my daughter and when i called to ask any question i got a different answer eveytime. I wanted to know why my daughter was not in normal clothes but very thin see through scrubs i was told atleast 9 diffrent reasons. The techs there (not all) will be polite to parents and rude to the kids. Its not a great place, but not horrible either.

Sundance Team was exceptional. They are very helpful, when I brought my son there for depression he left in a better mood and the therapist was extremely helpful communicating with me and working on my schedule for even extra family sessions and helping with his transition back to school.
