I was asked by the patient I brought to sit in with the visit with Donna Oden. He asked me to verify what she was saying about a possible condition. During the time I was there, only one question was asked of him and that regarded medications and I initiated that question about drug interference. He was taking a drug that was supposed to have been discontinued. That only happens if someone lets the pharmacy know! The ENTIRE visit was about her own medical problems, of which there were many, how much the system stinks, (I suppose she was talking about Medicaid.) ,how the pharmacies were poorly managed and how there was not one rheumatologist in Greensboro who took Medicaid. She was either grossly misinformed or inept. There are even choices! She wrote prescriptions for prednisone without knowing rheumatology results and a narcotic for pain with no diagnosis. Isn't this what we have an epidemic of?? Can a NP do that, especially the narcotic? The place was not only untidy for a medical clinic, it was very dirty. The floors has not seen a mop in a very long time. When I noted that, She complained about the lack of help and how she had to take out the trash. It doesn't require much to bend yourself over and pick up tissues/paper from the floor and Insist on cleanliness. She also was unprofessional with her personal appearance, phone and drinking a soda. What an insult to the patients who certainly deserve higher quality care. This clinic should be closed down or put under the management of people who care about real health care for people without many choices.
