All of the staff was awesome even the ones not taking care of my Mom! She was in there for a week. We didn’t have a single issue with any doctors, nurses, techs or any other staff members. They all made sure we had everything we needed at all times even though the floor was super busy with a lot of patients! It was the best stay at a hospital we’ve ever had! Also, the food served to the rooms was the best hospital food we’ve had!

After going to St. Francis and getting treated like dirt....Hillcrest treated me and had me in surgery fairly quick....nurses and doctors on duty that night were awesome! Truly made me feel as though they cared...that's a nice, reassuring feeling when going through a traumatic experience. I want to thank all that worked on me that night...you all were great!!

Been at the ER for over 3 hours and still waiting. I think the only way to get in is show up in an ambulance? I've seen so many people who have just walked out. I wonder if someone dies if they would look into it.

Nurses in the ER are unprofessional and rude. Rachel and Tracy were the worst examples of professionalism I have ever come across in the medical field or any ER for that matter. Hillcrest should be ashamed to have a staff of nurses who don't care about people who don't look like them. These two nurses literally argued with me and one made some really ignorant comments, Why go to nursing school just to get burnt out and treat people like their less than you because of situations, insurance or race. But it's fine I'll go high up and start with the chain of command since they preached on HIPPA yet had nothing signed from my husband. Idiots

Great staff n excellent hospital. No complaints. Great service. Been here for 6 days. ..The er is really busy n u might be stuck in the hallway for hours or even over night.. but other then that great place.. would come back here if had to. I recommend hillcrest..

I was brought to the er by ambulance in extreme pain. The very minute we hit the door there is the lady with the computer asking me my ss#, name, phone number, and what kind of insurance did I have. I am in so much pain I can’t even answer her. They put me in a room, ask me a bunch of questions and do a 10 second exam. The doctor says I have a pinched nerve in my back, they are going to get me a muscle relaxer and leave. I have no call light, phone. No way to get a hold of anyone. For an hour and 45 minutes I begged for someone to come in there and lower my head. My right leg was falling asleep making the pain unbearable. Finally the girl with the computer comes in and tries to ask me more questions which I could not answer. She finally goes and gets a nurse. The nurse came in and says “ok I have some morphine”. She gave me the shot and left before I could tell about the head of my bed being too high. The morphine did nothing and I am still begging for someone to help me. Finally one more shot of morphine, still no muscle relaxer. At 2:30, I got a shot of Toradol. After the Toradol I finally got some relief. They sent me home with a muscle relaxer and a stronger version of ibuprofen. I can’t walk, I haven’t slept in two nights, I am still in so much pain. Except now I can’t get out of my house and I can’t afford another’s ambulance bill. They treated me like I was drug seeking and that there was nothing wrong with me. They were more worried about getting my financial information than they were with my pain. I won’t be going back for anything.

My Man had surgery..The staff took very good care of him and Was so helpful during the stay ..It might have been a terrible place to go in the past but I recommend Hillcrest ..I'm Very happy with all services rendered especially the Staff on 4th floor..Thanks Yall ????

I would have to say that I am very disappointed with the doctor and surgeon who preformed the surgery on my father in law this Thursday afternoon they came and got him for surgery at around 530pm took us to the waiting room and 3 and half hours later I had to go to the front desk and ask the young lady if she could help to find out any information about how he was doing or even if he was out of surgery come to find out they were moving him back to his room we never seen anyone from the surgical team before or after surgery to let us know how things went. Then to find out that he did not even prescribe pain meds for after surgery come on who does this.

I just got home from Hillcrest hospital and I was there 5 days from emergency to a room and it was (considering) being sick...the best staff and nurses the food was good everyone was wonderful I will actually miss it there??

Don't have a family member stay with you. They will starve them to death. I've been here with my boyfriend for 2 days with no way to go get anything. And I have eaten 1 ham sandwich, and snacks from the vending machine. I've asked over an over about getting a guest tray with and I get one excuse after another. Oh, the computer messed up, they sent it to a different room, I'll check on it. Well it's super time for my boyfriend and I'm heading to the vending machine again.

I can't fathom some of the reviews here. I'm tempted to chalk it up to mere perception. The people at Hillcrest have always been great in my experience and they've helped my father numerous times. I couldn't imagine leaving a negative review.

After being transferred to Hillcrest, we met my husband's Nurse and got settled in. 4 1/2 hours later, my husband had not received meds, food, labs, or a visit from a doctor. I went to find the nurse only to find out that she, nor anyone else, had confirmed with his surgeon or the staff doctor that he had arrived. There were Zero Proactive actions taken by the staff to begin my husband's care. We paged the surgeon ourselves and after having a pointed conversation with the nurse, she paged the staff doctor. The surgeon called and ordered pain meds and food ASAP. I spoke with the Nurse again after she had spoken with our surgeon and she said that she was putting the orders in right then. Fifteen minutes later, I spoke with the Charge Nurse, then spoke to our Nurse again - Only To Hear, "I'm putting the prescription in right now." REALLY?!? I believed her the 1st time, but this time I had another very pointed discussion with the Charge Nurse about the service we were receiving. No person should have to sit in a hospital bed and have a nursing staff not seek out, or question why, a patient has no orders. We will not go back.I also took pictures of the Ice/Water machine because it was absolutely disgusting.

Wife had knee replacement surgery, the nurses were great. The support staff were worthless and that's being kind. Not once was my wife asked if she wanted to clean up. A stray puppy recieves better care than the patients.

I have been attending physical therapy as an outpatient. The Kaiser Outpatient Rehab is across from the valet parking, but it's still a little bit of a walk. The care is professional and the therapy has been beneficial. In the future, though, I will probably attend a standalone PT resource.

This hospital is not what it use to be between the nasty and irresponsible nurses who like to leave bottles in premie baby's mouths unattended and the lack of proper care and communication this place needs to be shut down sued of something go to any other hospital but here at least you'll know you and your kids will be in better hands I'm NEVER DELIVERING HERE AGEN y'all honestly suck then my other son comes home with a allergic reaction we tried addressing that there y'all said it was normal we take him to his Dr they said it was a allergic reaction makes me wonder what's done behind the scenes NEVER DELIVER HERE NEVER GO HERE YOU WOULD BE IN BETTER CARE WITH THE LUCKY CHARMS LEPRICON THEN HERE AND SO WOULD YOUR KIDS

I have been staying on the 6th floor with my mom after her surgery for about 5 nights now, and I think the doctors and specialist here are great! The day crew of nurses really care and have a good attitude about their jobs and make patients happy with their good attitudes. However, the nurses at night are terrible and have me convinced they have no clue what is going on, or what they are doing. Several times I have explained to the weekend night nurses about our special situation with allergies and so on. The night nurses have no care and treat you like you're stupid for even talking to them. It's almost like they hate their job so much they are taking it out on the patients and their families. Cannot say enough about the day staff tho! It is amazing how a few bad apples can turn a 5 star experience into a 2 or 1 star. I would make sure you keep an eye on your family members if they have to stay her over night. They also will fill you full of false promises and then continue to be terrible at their jobs. I have no sympathy for someone who doesn't do their job properly. People are putting their lives in the hands of a disorderly staff. The last nurse that came in ran a metal thermometer against my mothers staples from her brain surgery causing pain and swelling. All you have to do is read a couple words on a chart!!! This is crazy do not bring you're family here!

My 29 year old daughter went here seeking help after drug abuse and finally trying to commit suicide, for a week and a half of trying to find her reaching out to her friends and social media i decide to report her missing, it was not abnormal for her to go a week hanging out with friends but this time I had not even one call and as far as I could find noone had seen her, we get a card in the mail wishing her a speedy recovery that day from hillcrest, so I call they say they do not have her there that she had been discharged 3 days prior, later that night she shows up, she had cut both wrists and swallowed batteries, so hillcrest had to cut her open, she had staples all down her stomach and had had to walk in the heat about 20 miles to home. A few days later she goes back in had tried to kill herself again, swallowed more batteries, they had to so surgery again, because I have bad lungs and covit is real bad right now I was not able to be right by her side, but I did call everyday and either talked to her nurse or her, yesterday I called and was told by a nurse that she would have my daughters nurse call me back, she never did, I kept calling my daughters room no answer, today same thing no answer, I call the nurses station this new lady gets on the phone all she would say is they have noone there by that name, I said you did yesterday! Where is my daughter? Did you move her was she discharged, is she even alive what? I said I need to talk to your boss, she said she was the boss, I asked her if this was your daughter what would you do, how would you feel, is she out walking the streets with staples in the heat again, has something happened to her, where is she!? I guess I will call the police I dont know what else to do. There has to be something they can do to help people in this position, the woman was very rude and without compassion, how can you communicate with your loved one and staff for a week and then all of a sudden your loved one is gone and noone says anything but we have noone here by that name if there is nothing else I'm hanging up now. How is this possible..for all I know they could have released her again and she did commit suicide. Just thought others should know this is how they handle situations for family's that are in need of help.
