It’s taken years for us to find a treatment plan for our daughter’s depression that actually helps her to return to her normal life. When she did THIRA’s PHP track, they helped her plan around meals and nutrition habits, finding a balance between school and her treatment, and so many other resources around how to handle her anxiety and depressive swings. This was our first experience using a DBT-based solution and it’s made a huge difference for our whole family. We were impressed that the program also included things like yoga and art which really drew her into a more complete plan. It was a relief to know she was in such good hands during her time there!

This was my first time in treatment. The warmth and kindness from the staff was far beyond what I could have ever come to hope for/expect. THIRA Health gave me the necessary tools and confidence to continue to stay sober and for what it's worth; saved my life at a point I needed saving the most. I slept better than I had in months, are better than I had in a long time, was less agitated because I finally had answers and tools on how to get better. Everyone was very open and honest in discussions and team work was very present. I felt very safe and encouragement and the feeling of being believed in, was also very very present. The schedules and routines worked out so well and I would trade the experience for anything.

If i could give zero stars I would. I have been struggling for months with my depression and anxiety. My therapist recommended Thira for me to try since I didn’t have a very good experience at FairFax in Kirkland. The intake counselor was very kind over the zoom chat and seemed to take adequate notes and seemed to take my concerns for not only my safety but my concern for a misdiagnosis seriously as well. She recommended PHP but said she would have to discuss with her clinical team. She gave me a call on Thursday in the afternoon after talking with her on Tuesday, saying that the clinical team thought PHP was too expensive for me and that I didn’t need that level of care. I could just do at home zoom IOP. A clinical team, who has never met me, who has never heard my trauma from anyone except the intake counselor is telling me it would save me money and I can keep my suicidal ideations at home to deal with them there. How do you know what I can and cannot afford? How can you deny me care? The system is fucked up in this situation. I tried to seek care for my own health and safety and it was denied to me because I didn’t need it and couldn’t afford it. I now feel like I’m not sick enough to receive care nor am I well off financial wise to receive it either. Thank you, Thira for failing me.
